While I wait for my pizza to arrive, let me tell you some things

I am forever having episodes of guitar lust. I'll spot one or two instruments that are just irresistible and have them on my mind from then on. At the moment my fire is being stoked by the following two instruments:

It is said that better gear doesn't make a better player, but in my case it's totally not true. Whenever I get a new piece of equipment I become so obsessed with it that I can't put it down. At all. For weeks all I do is play. And at the end of that period I find myself having-

I decided to buy toner today for the ol' printer. I'm such an idiot that I assumed any cartridge marked 'pixma' would fit my mp140. I was wrong. Now I have black ink but no colour. I paid $40 bucks for the right not to have colour ink. Motherfucker.

Had a nice short, to the point, one hour jam with Marshall and Mia yesterday. We have all decided that jamming is way more fun when the sun is out. No longer just a way to blow off steam, but now one of the most pleasurable pursuits known to knucklehead.

Afterwards, Marshall and I headed up the pub for a crispy cider. Decided we may'swell make an afternoon of it, took a six pack up onto my balcony and watched the traffic go by. Had The White Stripes' self titled album cranking. Great news. I also came up with an awesome guitar invention:

Take your double cutaway, bore out the cutaways and install little tambourine cymbals. Congratulations, you now have an awesome little noisemaker.
